LIFE GROUPS
WHAT ARE LIFE GROUPS?
Life groups are midweek meetings, some meet at a home, whilst others meet at the church. They run both during the day and in the evenings. Typically, they are eight to ten people in a Life Group and we see these groups as a crucial part of the life of the church and we at St Mike’s want to invest in these groups and see them flourish.
We want Life Groups to be places that reveal the person of Jesus and help people discover his calling for their lives; to be a community that is genuine, where people know they are loved and long to reveal that love to others; and to be places of equipping in all that the Bible has to teach.
HOW CAN I JOIN A GROUP?
We want everyone who calls St Mike’s their church to be able to find a Life Group that will help them flourish. If a regular member of the church is interested in joining, they will first need to contact our Life Group Coordinator and they will talk through the options that we have. If the person is relatively new, we would encourage them to first spend time attending our services and making sure they want to be a part of our community. We suggest they chat with a member of the ministry team and together, chart a way forward.
