The Aglica Trio - flute, violin and harp - performs some of the most well-known compositions for this combination with music by Debussy and Ravel. Works by Bax and Mathias are also presented who each created a unique sound world in their compositions. The programme also includes exciting arrangements of songs by Gershwin alongside the Tango-inspired world of Piazolla. The concert concludes with the rhythmical and energetic SUBMERGED by Aguila.

Carys Gittins, Agnieszka Żyniewicz and Lise Vandersmissen bring their Welsh, Polish and Belgian influences together in the Aglica Trio. They met during their time at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London, where they studied for their Master’s Degrees. The Aglica Trio has given concert tours across Belgium, Germany and the UK.
